If you've lost weight before, maybe more than once, and still can't seem to stay there, this episode is going to name something you've probably never heard said out loud. The problem isn't your discipline. It's that every phase you've done has been training you to achieve, not to stay. And those are two completely different games.

In this episode, Coaches Tijana, Marilynn, and Jordanna dig into why so many women find themselves stuck in the same exhausting cycle: going all in, getting results, and then watching it unravel the moment the phase ends. They talk about what's keeping you in that loop, why short-term compliance will never get you to lasting change, and what it really looks like to become the woman who keeps her results for good.

Here's what we cover:

  • Why achieving your dream body and keeping it require two completely different versions of you, and why most women only ever train one

  • The fitness phase addiction that keeps women stuck, and why the structure and clarity of a challenge feels so good even when it isn't working

  • Why there's no identity change inside a six-week program, and how that's the real reason the weight keeps coming back

  • The lottery winner analogy that reframes everything about why results don't stick, and what building lasting change really requires

  • What the woman who keeps her results looks like in her daily life: how she thinks, how she moves, how she makes decisions when no coach is watching

  • Why "I've been consistent for a month and haven't seen results" is a sign you need to understand how habits and results are connected, and not that you're doing something wrong

  • The difference between general healthy habits and the specific standards required to build a sculpted body

  • What yo-yo dieting really costs you, not just physically, but mentally, and the shame cycle so many women have been quietly carrying for decades

  • How each coach lived her own 1.0: the competition rebound, the burnout weight gain, the woman who succeeded everywhere except for herself

  • What it means to evolve into your 2.0 and why that version of you isn't a destination you arrive at once

This episode is for the woman who has lost weight before and knows she can do it again, but is exhausted by this cycle she keeps going through. The one who is starting to wonder if there's something wrong with her, or if this is just how it's always going to be.

There's nothing wrong with you. You've just been playing a game with no path to permanence. That's what this episode changes.

"The toned body you want is on the other side of way more muscle. Toned is built, not bought. It's rented, not owed. And rent is due every day." — Coach Tijana

The unedited podcast transcript for this episode of the Get Sculpted podcast follows:

Tijana [00:00:02]: We are very excited, as always, to bring you the latest topic, which is if you woke up with that dream sculpted body of yours, would you be able to keep it? I want you to sit with that question for a second.

Visualize this: you wake up tomorrow with everything you’ve wanted—lean, toned, the definition you’ve been chasing for months or years. Now, would you know how to live as that person? What does she think, do, and feel first thing in the morning? What decisions is she making throughout her day that are different from what you do now?

The Mistake of Treating Fitness Like a Temporary Phase

Tijana [00:01:06]: Fitness and achieving your dream body is not something you did, it's something you do.

Marilynn [00:01:18]: Many women become addicted to chasing a fitness “phase”—the intense challenge, the photo shoot prep, the six-week bootcamp. These phases feel good, offer clear parameters, and create that all-in energy, but they all have a finish line.

When you build your fitness around a timeline, you set yourself for an escape hatch—the challenge ends, the rules are gone, and so are your results. There’s little to no identity shift. You might be able to “borrow” discipline for the duration, but you can’t borrow a new identity. Marilynn breaks it down: following orders for a few weeks is different from becoming someone for whom these habits are second nature.

Tijana [00:04:40]: But when there’s no identity change, the old habits snap back—bingeing after the competition, feeling lost without strict rules, and having nothing left but a cycle of on-off phases.

Why You Always Gain It Back: The Problem with Short-Term Compliance Marilynn [00:05:10]: Fitness is not a phase. You’re not just prepping for vacation or a wedding. It’s about who you are at your core—standard, not season.

The rebound isn’t just physical. It’s emotional shame, the frustration of seeing results disappear, and the exhaustion of repeated restarts. Jordanna shares: almost every woman she meets has been dieting on and off for years—yet the skills and mindset that get you to your goal, aren’t the same ones that help you stay there. 06:18

Marilynn [00:06:38]: If you’ve never truly become the woman who keeps the results, you’re stuck in the cycle. Phases are just temporary persona swaps; true change means transforming from the inside out, not just following new rules.

What It Actually Takes to Maintain—and Why Identity Trumps Rules

Jordanna [00:07:07]: The woman who keeps her results doesn’t negotiate her workouts, doesn’t spiral over the scale, and isn’t waiting for a finish line. She lives at a standard—no more “on-plan for a goal,” she’s just consistently herself. 07:25

Within Get Sculpted, the expectation is that transformation isn’t a 12-week crash course—it’s a multi-year journey. Learning how to follow a meal plan is only the beginning. Real empowerment comes from living beyond those templates, navigating life flexibly, and feeling at home in your body, anywhere, anytime. Jordanna [00:08:19]

Tijana [00:09:11]: If the only thing you say “ever worked” is rigid meal plans or a mega-restrictive system—but you’re still searching for the next thing—be honest: did it really work? If you keep seeking, you’re not done evolving.

Marilynn [00:10:16]: Without identity shift, you're just a cog in the wheel. You get stuck, and the industry profits on that cycle.

When Identity Becomes Your “Normal”: Why Maintenance Becomes Easy

Jordanna [00:10:36]: When fitness is part of you, it stops feeling extreme. Tracking food, choosing whole foods, lifting? That’s just who you are. Over time, those standards become the new default—not something you have to force.

Marilynn [00:11:20]: It becomes easy when it’s who you are. No more heavy resistance to habits—you look forward to training, recovery, and keeping your standards high because it feels natural and empowering.

Tijana [00:11:39]: The sooner you adopt the standards of those already living how you want to live, the sooner you’ll get your results.

The 1.0 vs 2.0 Shift: Real Stories of Evolving Identity

Tijana [00:13:50]: Takes us back to the “1.0” version: sleeping in, avoiding mirrors, wearing baggy sweatpants, drifting aimlessly until it’s time for another crash “get back in shape” phase. After repeating show preps and binge phases, she realized: without a lifestyle foundation, nothing sticks.

Now, her “2.0” self? Loves training, fueling, structure. It’s not “I have to,” it’s “I get to.” No more up-and-down, just confidence in her choices and consistency regardless of season.

Jordanna [00:16:09]: Adds her own 1.0 story: excelling in every area of life except honoring her body. The standards and habits were missing, even if discipline existed everywhere else. Sustainable change only started when she gave herself permission to be as important as everyone she cared for.

Marilynn [00:18:28]: Shares two 1.0 extremes: obsessively restricting, aiming to shrink at all costs, and later, burning out and not caring at all. Both ended in feeling unhealthy and unfulfilled. The real transformation—mentally and physically—only came from embracing a new identity, not just chasing validation.

[00:21:05]: Remember, fitness is not something you did, it's something you do. Your 2.0 is always evolving; there’s always another bar to raise.

The Tangible Shift: From “Healthy Habits” to Sculpted Behaviors

Tijana [00:22:01]: It’s not just about being active or making generally healthy choices. To build a sculpted physique, your habits—and standards—must match your goals.

She’s tracking food, lifting with intention and intensity, not just showing up, but progressing and building the machine of her life around structure and recovery.[00:22:42]

and [00:23:14]: Results always lag behind habits—and you need to elevate those habits, consistently, at a higher standard, for long enough to reap the rewards. You can’t get sculpted by living at the “bare minimum” healthy baseline. [00:23:46]

Scaffolding Your Growth: Climbing from the Basement to the Penthouse

Tijana [00:24:07]: When you’ve been living “in the basement,” you can’t even visualize the penthouse. Each level requires upgrades in your mindset, effort, and skills. You don’t jump straight from desperation to thriving—you have to scaffold and level up, step by step, allowing time to adjust, learn, and keep going.

Marilynn [00:25:09]: Building the identity, skills, and habits is intentional—it does not happen by accident. You need support, a strategy, and guidance to truly evolve out of the endless restart cycle.

Work With Us and Become Your 2.0

Tijana [00:25:32]: At Get Sculpted, we take women out of that cycle. We don’t just share healthy habits—we coach a body recomposition system. If you want to maintain your best self, you need a plan, coaching, and the structured path from “lottery winner” to “self-made millionaire” in your body.

RECAP & FINAL THOUGHTS

Tijana [00:26:38]: It’s not about what you do, it’s about who you become in the process. If you want to build an identity that holds your results forever—not just visit your dream body once and lose it—start thinking and acting like your future 2.0 now.
