2 Years of Get Sculpted: Lessons on Fitness, Business & Friendship
Discover how fitness, mindset, and community create lasting transformation in life, business, and beyond in this episode of Get Sculpted.
Think your fitness journey is “just physical”? Think again.
This episode is a love letter to the habits, mindset shifts, and relationships that shape your body and your life, because getting sculpted is about more than lifting weights.
It’s about betting on yourself, leveling up, and building a life that feels just as good as it looks.
As we celebrate two years of Get Sculpted, we’re reflecting on the lessons that changed everything: from the reps that built our confidence to the friendships that built our business. Whether you’re on day one or year five, this episode is your reminder that every strong body starts with a strong why.
We’re exploring how fitness has become the foundation for personal growth, business success, and unshakable confidence, and how you can apply these principles to your own journey.
If you’ve ever said, “I want to feel like her,” this episode shows you how she was built.
Here’s what we cover:
Why lifting is more than a workout.. it's an identity shift
How discipline, structure, and consistency in fitness translate to success in business and life
What it really means to build a Fit Life That Lasts
The power of community and why you shouldn't go it alone
How personal growth must come before business growth
Why your results aren’t just about strategy, but about the people beside you
This isn’t just a recap. It’s a roadmap.
To build resilience when life gets loud.
To rewrite your story with intention instead of autopilot.
To become the next version of you who doesn't just dream about what's possible, she builds it, one rep, one habit, one aligned decision at a time.
Because strong bodies are forged in the gym, but strong lives? Those are built in the moments you choose to show up, even when it’s hard.
This episode is your proof that you don’t have to do it alone, and you don’t have to wait to start.
Fitness is one of the biggest signs of self-respect.

The unedited podcast transcript for this episode of the Get Sculpted podcast follows:
Tijana [00:02:09]: Absolutely. So I will always die on this hill. Everybody needs fitness in their life because it really does set the tone for everything else... And it's more about the journey than it is about the destination...
Jordanna [00:03:05]: I've always felt like my fitness and my lifting in particular, has been an anchor. It's anchored my day, it's anchored my emotions...
Marilynn [00:03:33]: Yeah. And for me, I feel like it has been the confidence boost that I need in every area of my life... And that's exactly what fitness has done for me...
Tijana [00:04:17]: And it's for a lot of people, I would say for a lot of our girls too, it's learning to set those boundaries. For a lot of them, the first time they do that is through their fitness journey...
Jordanna [00:04:46]: Lifting is like the gift that keeps on giving because you can Never not have something to learn as well...
Translating Fitness Discipline Into Business Success
Tijana [00:05:48]: ...To be able to implement fitness in that way, I think that's really powerful... So Jord, I would love if you would share with us how this applies to the business side of things.Jordanna [00:06:05]: Yeah, I think it's like the things that made you successful in fitness are gonna make you successful in business too... Like being organized, having great communication amongst each other. And that's the same that you would need in your fitness journey...
Marilynn [00:06:52]: Well, I think for me even like taking it back a little bit further, I always, and I will say this forever, that my fitness journey was the catalyst for me making the change...
Tijana [00:07:55]: Well, I was thinking specifically, whenever I've leveled up my personal growth, it's always directly translated to business growth... your personal growth has to precede your business growth...
Jordanna [00:09:06]: I agree. And there's so many, like, practical examples too, that I think come together between fitness and growing a business or being an entrepreneur in general...
Tijana [00:10:18]: This is such a good point too. And I was just thinking about this this morning, how it's so much more than the results you get in a few weeks. If you're thinking about working with a coach... It's about the skills you gain, the person you become...
Jordanna [00:10:56]: I love that. Because when you finally do invest in yourself, you're getting the education, you're getting the tools, you're getting, you know, support around time, but ultimately you're really leveling up to the best version of yourself and you're surrounding yourself with the people that are going to help you get there...
The Power of Community and Friendship in Fitness (and Business)
Jordanna [00:11:44]: The vision is there. And again, that's something that we teach our clients, that we want them to have that long term perspective in mind. But we also each, I think, individually learn that through our own fitness journey too, which is pretty cool. Which is the perfect cheesy segue into friendship and the power of community and support. Mar, will you, like, share your thoughts here? Start us off.Marilynn [00:12:05]: Yes. I also was reflecting on this episode when we mapped it out and this morning before we recorded. And I think, personally, one of the biggest lessons I have learned over these last two years... is that none of this happens alone... The thing that holds it together are the people who are beside you in the good times and the bad times, because they keep you motivated, they hold you accountable, and they lift you higher so you keep striving for more...
Marilynn [00:13:19]: ...when you have a strong, supportive community or relationships, these people get it, and they will remind you of your goals when you maybe forget them...
Jordanna [00:14:11]: You do need it.
Marilynn [00:14:14]: Right. And time and time again, I would say that we see our most successful clients. They are the ones that are showing up, not just, like, for themselves, but in the community. Right?
Jordanna [00:15:20]: I love that. So we didn't plan for this. I'm gonna do, like, some rapid fire questions...
Get Sculpted Community Highlights & Future Vision
Jordanna [00:15:30]: Okay. What is one of your favorite things that we have done for our community in the last two years?Tijana [00:15:37]: Oh, oh. Live events come to mind for me right away...
Marilynn [00:16:59]: ...but the give back because that's what we're all about. Part of, you know, a pillar in our community is. Yes. Being there for each other... we actually got to like be like boots on the ground and build a playground together...
Jordanna [00:19:08]: I also love our photo shoots and the way we do them. So yes, T, when you said winter sculpt, We've done this two years in a row now and it is actually 12 week challenge that we do internally with our clients... It just does not get old...
Marilynn [00:19:13]: Absolutely. I love photo shoots. I love seeing women see themselves like that. For some of them, for the first...
Living the Sculpted Standards & Looking Ahead
Jordanna [00:19:43]: Okay, so now I'm gonna ask you guys, what is your favorite, favorite sculpted standard?Marilynn [00:19:50]: Mine is building a fit life that lasts...
Tijana [00:20:52]: Definitely follow a plan, not your mood...
Jordanna [00:21:20]: Oh, I love those too. I was going to say a fit life that lasts. Cause I also feel the exact same way about that one. But I'm gonna say pay it forward...
Jordanna [00:21:51]: And one last question before we wrap up. What is one big vision, wish, dream that you would love to see happen in get sculpted?
Marilynn [00:22:17]: So we talked about how we have events for our community... I would love to see get sculpted do a retreat. This has been on our get sculpted bucket list...
Tijana [00:22:59]: I love this. Hopefully I can share about this because we just talked about it today, but another one that is coming to life is having our own signature games to participate in...
Jordanna [00:23:50]: I love that. So stay tuned for the Get Sculpted Games because think of it like the Olympics of the fitness world...
Final Reflections: Fitness, Business & Friendship—It All Belongs
Jordanna [00:24:03]: Well, I will say that I would like to see our impact on women's lives and their families and loved ones, at least quadruple. That's going to be. Mine is more about impact based...Jordanna [00:24:39]: Cheers with our water.
Jordanna [00:25:32]: But that is exactly life. And this is an opportunity for us to do something with the power of three, execute faster, do things with thinking through them... So I just want to say I am super, super grateful for the both of you and being on this journey together has been a huge dream fulfilled and one that keeps evolving. So thank you.
Marilynn [00:26:05]: We have lots of time.
Tijana [00:26:06]: To many more.
Jordanna [00:26:06]: To many, many more years. Happy Birthday. Get sculpted to two years... Thank you so much for tuning in today. This has been a really special episode. We love it. Stay tuned because in a very few short weeks, we're going to do something super, super special to celebrate our formal birthday. But in the meantime, keep listening, stay strong, and have a wonderful day.
