What Does "Being Hot" Really Mean?

Tijana [00:00:00]: Hello and welcome back to the Get Sculpted podcast and Happy New Year.

Jordanna [00:00:04]: Happy New Year. Happy new year.

Tijana [00:00:06]: Woo. First day of 2026... we want to talk about a specific type of goal that you might have and that a lot of people have and a lot of our clients relate to, and that is being hot—just getting hotter...what does being hot actually mean?...sometimes when we hear that, we think, oh, is it that someone else deems you hot? ...this is more like an intrinsic feeling, something you feel about yourself. [Shares examples and invites co-hosts to add.]

Tijana [00:00:45]: Number one, it's that you feel great wearing anything...being hot to me is like, wow, I feel awesome...feeling great naked...It's also like, you're not seeking anyone else's validation...being hot is...a state of mind…

Marilynn [00:01:51]: It's looking in the mirror and loving what I see...My insides and my outsides match and just that confidence…

Jordanna [00:02:05]: Feeling hot and sexy...is more so like, not living up to necessarily the beauty standards that are out in society, but the ones that you set for yourself...it's actually like a really personal thing...seeing women lean into being like, I wanna look good…

Breaking Free from Guilt: Why Wanting to Look Hot Isn't Shallow

Tijana [00:03:01]: ...[talking about how many women feel guilty for wanting to look hot, as if it's shallow]...Let me tell you something...being hot makes you feel so much better in every area of your life...this is a safe space to say it here…

Tijana [00:04:43]: That doesn't mean that it's a bad thing to want to feel awesome...changing your body doesn't mean that you hate yourself. It means you want to get better…

Tijana [00:05:28]: People just really want to feel more comfortable in their bodies...if you don't feel comfortable with where you're at...then no amount of aesthetic fixes are going to give you that security…

Jordanna [00:06:45]: A lot of it comes from fear, too...fear to try again, fear to invest again...But what a lot of women tell me...they're like, yeah, I want to look good, and I'm tired of trying to hide that…

Marilynn [00:08:41]: Society...praises women for being humble. And then the second we say we want to be hot, people suddenly act like you've crossed a line and you're being vain…

Owning Your Confidence: The Power of Main Character Energy

Jordanna [00:09:58]: If you were gonna watch a movie and you were the leading lady...would your movie be interesting to watch?...by not taking action … it does cost you so much...what kind of movie are you making of your life?

Tijana [00:10:37]: Yeah. You need to have main character energy.

Marilynn [00:11:01]: They think that, like, you can't hold those two things true at once...you can't be a mom and be hot. But I disagree with that completely...when you feel hot and confident...you show up so differently…

Tijana [00:12:02]: It's not even that. It's like, that your kids notice...your kids will never do what you say, they do what you do…

Marilynn [00:12:41]: Don't silence what you want. Like, own it. So important to own it, you know?

The Identity Shift: What "Looking Hot" Actually Represents

Jordanna [00:13:18]: It's ultimately about the identity shift that you're making...all of these goals...are really about who you're becoming in the process...representing somebody who has self respect and built consistency for themselves…

Jordanna [00:14:45]: When I started to really put that blueprint into place for myself, it literally spilled over into every area of my life...I changed my whole life…

Marilynn [00:15:37]: For me, giving myself permission to, like, articulate and actually say out loud that I want it to be hot...it truly changed my life...it opened up the door to so many other things that I let myself do…

Tijana [00:16:18]: Validation from other people...when you put yourself out there online, you're gonna get a hater...you really let people's comments get to you...So now if you feel like you're hot, you're like, well, I feel like I'm hot. I don't give a crap about you…

Jordanna [00:17:27]: And so why do you think this guilt prevails so much? Where do you think it comes from?

Building Belief and Sharing Your Vision

Tijana [00:17:36]: People don't say that they wanna be hot because ...they actually don't believe it when they say it...But they don't see the path forward to it...Borrow other people's belief…

Jordanna [00:18:29]: Something that we did in our community...is we did this belief breaking vision setting call...the prompt...was like, wow, this is so cool...just describing in detail how you want to feel in your morning routine…

Tijana [00:20:25]: What if we share that prompt with people?

Jordanna [00:20:28]: We should. Let's share the prompt. We'll put it in the show notes…

Recap & Unapologetic Action for Your Hottest Year

Tijana [00:20:36]: Just be your hottest and sexiest self in 2026...It's a mindset. But it's also how you show up...we want you to lift the weights, eat the meals, listen to the Get Sculpted podcast—that is your recipe for being the hottest version of yourself... Tijana [00:21:02]: You don't need to choose this or that...I can do both of these things...you are more than allowed to wanna be hot and fit and healthy.
